Is Lightcone free?

Yes: a lab in London or Kyiv, on Easy or Normal, is free to play as often as you like. One purchase unlocks the full game for good: the other four cities (San Francisco, Paris, Shanghai and New Delhi) and Hard. There are no ads and no subscription.

I bought the full game. How do I get it on another iPhone?

It unlocks by itself on any iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account, and for your family with Family Sharing. If it hasn't, open About (the ⓘ on the title screen, or About in the ≡ menu) and tap Restore purchase.

Is my game saved?

Yes. Lightcone saves every few in-game months and whenever you leave the app. Tap Continue on the title screen to pick up where you left off, or use Save & quit in the ≡ menu.

How do I pause or speed up time?

Tap the clock at the top right. Each tap moves it through pause, 1×, 2× and 4×. Big decisions pause the game for you.

What does a number mean?

Tap any icon or number and a short explanation appears beside it. Tap again to close it.

Can I skip the tutorial or start over?

Open the ≡ menu. During the tutorial it offers Skip tutorial, and New lab starts a fresh game at any time (the current lab can't be continued after that).

How do I share my model or my ending?

Tap the share button in the top corner when a model's mind is on screen (a new model, or one opened from the Models tab), or Share on the ending screen. Lightcone makes a picture of it for the share sheet.

Sound, music and haptics

Switch each one on or off in the ≡ menu.

Game Center

Sign in under Settings › Game Center on your iPhone to earn achievements and post your scores to the leaderboards. Achievements you earn while signed out are sent the next time you sign in. Open Game Center from the ≡ menu, or from the Game Center button on the title screen.

Privacy

Lightcone collects no data about you. Read the privacy policy.
